would you mind? I've never seen that one before and would love to see it from some other angles.

hey now i love some recurve and looks like black paper scales, that is a very nice looking knife!!!

They are blue/blk G10 and she is a beaut! She was purchased from Bladewest.
She is always welcome to come home. ;)

interesting.

I've never seen that blade profile on an ASH before, anyone know if there are others or if this is an one-off?

I bought one like it at Knob Creek October of 2007, except mine has about 2 inches of serrations just in front of the choil--other than that it is identical. Double cut finish, blue black G10 slabs, and I believe it was $697.00.

Kelly gave you the background on this baby as he was the one I bought from. Thanks mate.

The blade and tang are about the same thickness as the ASH1 LE but with thinner G10 slabs.

The knife actually feels quite good in the hand, very light allowing for fast action. Balanced just behind the front talon hole.

I love the recurve and that it's sort of subtle and doesn't take too much of the belly away since the big fat width/height of the ASH blade is part of it's allure, so to speak.
