I don't think I've got any brothers in IllNoise.
One could say that I'm a Symphonian in that I do attend the Symphony. Portland has a very good one, you know. The lady and I, however, I decided not to renew our opera subscription for the coming season though. The Portland Opera has been going down hill for several years. For the coming season, first, the bill is just bad. Then they raised the rates. Then, on top of that, they decided to redistrict the seats moving us into a higher bracket -- a double price increase. And then they went from five productions down to four -- essentially a third increse. Oh, they threw in tickets to another show thing, sure, but that show has since been called off too. So, no Opera next year. I'll miss it. We'll probably go to Seattle a couple of times and enjoy some there.
I've talked to several people who are not renewing next season.
Of course, my real musical passion is Marching Marimba Bands!
