Hey guys, huge knife fan, been collecting since I was little. Love em', don't know why.


I was curious, are there any good bowies, with 12 inch blades? I have a Jungle Sawback Bowie, which is a nice knife for the price, but always felt a little off. something with a knuckle guard perhaps?

Welcome to BF! I would suggest that you check out the knife makers section here! We have some phenomenal makers here. Also, look in the Custom & Handmade section.
 
I have a few bowies, but none that large. I don't know how much you want to spend, but you might like the Busse Combat Terror Monkey.
 
To be honest, I wasn't going to purchase one, I'm more curious in finding one. The Jungle Bowie is the only one I've found that large, surprisingly. Thanks for the help.
 
It would be interesting to know what do you plan to use the knife for. A knife that size is pretty limited in terms of uses... chopper, bear killer ;)

Ontario has a couple of 10" in 1095 steel, the SP5 Survival Bowie and the SP10 Marine Bowie. Nice tough knives... and cheap too.
