Welcome. I think it will do you a ton of good, and help us help you, if you could define what you mean by "survival."
While you are doing that...I'll throw this out. There is no such thing as a great do it all knife. Many knives do an OK job of everything, but each part of that "everything" is a compromise. And...limiting yourself to under $100 is making the knife even more of a compromise.
And I'll throw out another thing....more of a general observation...why do people want an inexpensive "survival" knife? "I want something that I can rely on if my life depended on it...but my life isn't worth more than $100...that's too much."
