How To hey guys just seeing if anyone can help identify this knife please

hey everyone, im a n00b here on the knife/blade forum/blog but have had a hell of a time trying to find out some more specifics on this knife I found, it seems rather unique/ I have never seen one quite like it before with this type and style of blade lock . Only thing written on it is Oscar's 88012 440 SS

.. looking to see what its worth if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!.. thanks in advance guys!

Oscars was a Canadian importer brand.
Oscars & Zakher, Ltd. Toronto. I've never seen a folder, just fixed.
