In order of toughness. I've been carrying my fixed blade around a lot because i know how tough it is, but i need something to fit in my pocket for ease of carry. I have all the knives listed, so i just really need opinions. I've carried them, but haven't really put them to the test because hey, if you all have damaged your knives, you can tell me instead of my broke butt doing it to myself! Zip ties, cardboard, plastic packaging, wood, rope, fishing line and some cloth materials are pretty much all i cut. I have a ton of varying steels, but don't want something that will chip, but also don't want something that will wear out in a days use. Also, what would you carry to family functions or public buildings? Here's the list. This is somewhat a boredom post also... but it will help me get back into carrying due to your guys opinion.

-Spyderco Caly 3 in ZDP-189 & Carbon Fiber, plain edge
-Timberline Kelly Worden Large tactical, plain edge
-Benchmade Benchmite II, plain edge
-Kershaw Blur 13c26. plain edge
-Buck 110, plain edge
-Benchmade Griptilian 154CM, partial serrations

These are my multi tools i may pair the knives up with, feel free to suggest a good pair.

-Victorinox Swisschamp
-Victorinox Swisstool
-Buck X-Tract

The Caly in ZDP would probably be the best for what you described, but it's not a "tough" knife.
