Hey guys, new to Busse and have questions

I've been looking through pages and pages of knives, drooling, and trying to maintain some self-control. I've really been thinking about buying one of these awesome knives but really don't know much about the models. The one I'd really to own some day soon is one just like JDieselJoe69 posted in the for sale forum. What is this beautiful knife called and where can I get one? :D

That looks like some type of Fusion Steel Heart (FSH). Steel Heart is the name of the knife. Fusion is the handle type, which you can compare to the Straight Handle Steel Heart (SHSH), but I don't have a picture of it...

There are a few different variations, like the Heavy Heart (HHFSH 0.27" thick, saber grind) and the Heavy Ordinance Grade (HOGFSH, 0.32" thick, full flat grind according to bussecollector.com).

You'll have to get them either from the secondary market or as a custom shop order. Not sure if they're planning to release another Fusion Steel Heart soon... Jerry teased a Nuclear Meltdown FSH with a 9.5"-long blade recently but who knows when that'll come out! Jerry's the man himself, Jerry Busse, and the Nuclear Meltdown is a treatment that rounds off the square edges of the knife, like along the spine, butt, and talon guard.

Or.....go so some shows where Busse sets up, however I've never seen one at a show with that color combo.

Quick and informative answer, thanks! I was having a hard time figuring out the long, abbreviated names :D There's just something about that knife that screams buy me

He made sure to specify that the knife wasn't for sale unfortunately. That'd be too easy :grumpy:

Kenny Rowe made the sheath and its for a .27" saber ground heavy heart. FYI, for you FNG's..... Only FSH with a saber grind = Heavy Heart. THe rest are all FFG's:thumbup:
