I used my BCCI, two knives at cost membership privilege and bought a small vantage S30V and a large vantage 835 select. Even qualified for free shipping.... Earlier at a big box store I bought a blaze camo 234 in a bubble pack. Also shown in the main photo is a 110 serrated that is on the BCCI youth auction.

Review: The two vantages are spot on. I always wanted the S30V to go with my other two and you can't beat the two knives at cost membership price. The large Vantage I am going to attempt to RIT dye the handle orange as per one of my NM Buck buddies did several posts back. We will see. All lock-ups tight, no wiggle vertical or back and forth.

Good and the semi-bad. The Vantages both centered well, were not tight or dirty and the 835 flicked out like butter. I , being a student of these felt like the blade was thicker than a regular large Vantage Avid. I ment to measure them before posting but forgot. I likely will carry my 346 as it is .15 oz lighter, ha, actually it seems slimmer in my pocket. But the dye effort may change that attitude.

I have often been against bubble packs and guess what the 234 was centered BUT had some tiny scratches from something late in manufacturing process. I think a little rubbing with Mothers or Green rouge and they may go away. But for the low price I am still happy.

This is just a thread about my personal experiences,,,,,,,,I am not a troll...ha 300Bucks

See the tiny scratches in the smooth area left of BUCK

Thanks for the review and congratulations on your new Bucks. Oh, thanks for the heads up on the auction.

good review. I may buy a vantage but I couldn't justify using it over my Alpha or 110.

Nice knives... I think you're a swell moderator and not a troll

The Vantage line is great in my book.

Thanks for the write up. I'm strongly considering putting a vantage pro or force pro on my Christmas list.
