Hey, I know this is not the proper way to go about things, but I've called, I've emailed, and I've visitor messaged, but I've gotten no quality response from CRKS, and I was wondering:

Do you have any idea when the Junglas will be shipped to them?

Again, I realize this isn't proper procedure, but I was wondering if you knew. Thanks. And, if there's a better way for me to do this, please let me know.
 
There have been a few questions lately on when ESEE will be getting caught up on shipping.

According to Jeff, they are still at their normal 2-3 week lead time they've always been at, unless something has changed. ESEEs have been selling like crazy lately it seems so vendors are selling out of the stock they ordered and then need to have someone to blame.

Sometimes a quick phone call is better than emails, etc. because emails can get backed up in a hurry.

Adaman04, great point. I get my ESEE & Maxpedition stuff from Howe's Knife Shop. I always check his website to see if he has it, but sometimes due to time lapses, the items are not always listed when he receives them. I usually give him a call, & 98% of the time he has it in stock, just not listed on the site. Good idea to call when in doubt on anything.

I believe it is Chestnut Ridge. I've talked with them on the phone and they were friendly and helpful. When I called to change an order, they updated me when all of the knives on my order would ship.

The best bet would be to call during their business hours, if the last call you made was on off hours that is.

Best of luck to you, I want a Junglas too but have not figured out how to justify it to the Mrs yet :p

I seconded this. I fell for the we have three junglas in stock thing and now am stuck on backorder. ETA would be nice
 
Yeah, it's Chestnut Ridge. I have called, quite a few times, I might add. And on business days, within business hours. I just feel this is poor CS, and I'm giving up on buying from them.

I looked at their site yesterday to look at the Junglas, to see if they may have said anything, and it still said 3 were in stock, but they had raised the price! It's like, you have time to raise the price, but not to say that you're out of stock on your website? I'm baffled. I'd just like my Junglas...!
 
Ditt, as they say, o. I am also waiting for a Junglas, but I knew they were out of stock when I ordered one (thanks to Tactical Defender for being honest about it right on the page, saying pre-orders only.) Hopefully next week!
 
Update: Tactical Defender's Junglas entry is saying the end of March now, instead of the end of February. And I've already had an order in for two weeks now. Blargh. I'm assuming they're not in stock anywhere else? I'm gonna be super pissed if I miss the cutoff of preorders by the end of this month.

I've had 2 on order from the 2/2 and haven't got anything yet, but hopefully sooner than the end of march:). It will just have to be a surprise when it comes.
 
F...! you serious? arg... i got an email from chestnut knife shop on 3/1 around the same time i ordered one from them.

"The Esee Junglas are currently on back order and will be arriving in a week to a week and a half."

i am a still little skeptic about the email i received because their site still claims they still have 3 in stock.... and now this... :(

everyday waiting for the mail
feeling like a dog chasing his tail
when the mailman drives by,
brings a tear to the eye.


Canceled order went with knifeworks....
