Jerry,

You really need to make it to tthe Tulsa Gun Show held two times a year. It's the Wannamachers (sp??) show...just the biggest gun show in the nation. You can see there are snips from the show on American Rifleman t.v. show as well as others, I'm sure.

I'm selfish, as Tulsa is just an hour and a half away, but in all seriousness, it is a hellava show that you would do very well at!

For all you nay sayers, it is just 11 acres of of indoor tables!
 
It`s deffinately something to think about if the shop isn`t to backed up on orders. (When has that ever happened?) Jerry and an apprentice actually did the show once in the early 90`s and had a blast. There`s alot of good BBQ there in Oklahoma.
For those of you who can`t quite picture what 11 acres is like let me put it in perspective. Most gunshows run between 300-600 tables. 600-800 is considered a really big show in most places.
The one in Oklahoma is 8,800 tables. Yeah you read that right....nearly 9000 tables.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

That makes the ones down here in Miami look like a yard sale on a small lawn. And we're VERY free with the gun laws. 8800 table is ABSURD!

If you walk fast, and don't look at ALL the tables, you can go through it in 6 hours or so. If you go through it like most do in a gun show, you need two days.

ETA: I just looked it up....its more like 3900 tables.....

I agree that Jerry is missing a great opportunity, as the Tulsa show really is something! It is worth a three hour drive for me - I have done it a few times before.
 
+1...NEITHER Blade nor blade west is convenient when you live in ks, but i'd be all over tulsa.
 
I'll be there no matter what, but I'd really like to see the Busse gang there as well. :)
 
Make it out to CA sometime, Bussekins. Us out here get the shizz end of the stick all the time!
