i think it would fall into the heavy chopper range - on wich i wouldnt suggest the ring. you'd end up crushing the insides of your finger the second you got really heavy shock on the blade.

but then i could be wrong. i'd be interested in knowing how that goes if you ever want to hit the big barf into some logs.
