Alright guys, does anyone have any inside info on when we can expect this out? You would think from a marketing standpoint that it would be out any day now so it could also be purchased as a Christmas gift.

This is by far the most anticipated knife launch this year for me. About two months ago I put in some leg work and called tons of retailers asking them if they knew of any release date? Didn't get anywhere though, no one knew anything?

If your reading this Kershaw, were ready. Please release the Cryo II!

What's Kershaw's usual release date for new year releases?
Hopefully it's the first quarter of the new year. Otherwise Booo Kershaw!
 
Lots of makers don't do early publicity. That's because some circumstances are beyond their control. One major offshore source of knives is currently in a mandated country wide shut down because they are electing a new premier. Tends to screw up everyones expectations for Christmas when they do things like that.

Frankly, if it's not already in warehouse distribution centers, it's not shipping for Christmas anyway, US or otherwise. These things don't happen overnight. Ask Magpul fans about that.

Take a look at the Chad Los Banos models in the Boker Plus line - similar construction and technical details. Then look at Sanrenmu, who just launched three of their existing models with Boker graphics on them. It's a global economy. I suspect Kershaw is nailing down the details for the next version while enjoying sales of the existing stock. Even Apple knows better than to kill the cash cow buy announcing all you have to do is wait a few months to get something bigger, faster, better.

It's incremental anyway. Sharp edge that folds, nothing new there.
 
My best educated guess for now is that they will announce it in the 2013 catalog in time for the 2013 SHOT show.
