1. There is a search function in the top right.
2. There are sticky notes on the top of some forums for rules. Take a few minutes to read them.

Welcome , I'm new also to the knife hobby or whatever it's called . I got into it from wood carving and was looking for a good strong knife and EDC , it opened up the world of knives to me . I'm a benchrest shooter and a reloader , also a never ending hobby . When it comes to knives there are so many choices , I could see how addicting it could be . This forum covers everything . How did you get bit , my excuse is wood carving .

Welcome. I've only been here a year but this has been an educational experience. It's great being able to ask questions and have a pool of people who might have the experience to answer.

If you're just getting into the hobby, I recommend using the Advanced Search function over on BladeHQ. You can basically sort by features you want to check out and spend hours window-shopping. If you see something you like, feel free to ask about it.
