To bad you only sell to your established customers!?

Lean Mean
The LAST Lean Mean to leave Busse...NEVER SHARPENED
Prototype Satin Jack ZT (notice bevel on blade)
5/16" Satin, Tan handles 1 of 1?
LMS, Tan handles 1 of 3
DWMS, Tan Handles
Old Infi Mean Street
Plan'ol Mean Street
And two Lean Means on the side.....

I don't know what Papthud has up his sleeve, but that is a very impressive collection of Mean Streets !

Congratulations.

Marc (marc@bussecombat.com)

One Who??,
Looks like you need one with slotted screws, they show up in the for sale forum from time to time;)

One Who Buys,

You continue to misunderstand my sales habits.

I have a "set" of never been sharpend knives that are not for sale.
they are for table display only, but I do not have all models.
I try to keep knives for display, I want to be able to show these knives to the public

When my supply of a particular model is down to 1, I would prefer to keep the knife model for show on my table, or if an established customer decides they have to have it, then I will sell it
reluctantly (sp).
Thus, when you asked if I had a particular knife, which I had but was down to one, I declined to sell it to you. Then when I offered you other knives you had stated an interest in that I had several of, you seemed to take this as non-consistant behavior.

I am sorry to have offended you. It is certainly not my intent.

Please see picture above.....
Just how "Established" do I need to be in order to buy a knife that I WANT from You?
After all, doesn't your signature line say " Busse Sales Manager"

I can buy SHe's, NOe's, and BMe's all day long.

I own 3% of all the ZT Satin Jacks.....
Would you like to see my Birds Beak collection?
Would the 8 straight handle BM's in my safe help?
How about an SH I, or maybe the Shark I'll have next week!
Will that make me an "Established Customer?"
Or do I need to break out the SH II's, the Aftershocks, BA's, NO's, and ZT SETS before I'll be "ESTABLISHED?"
How about a 30" Custom? Get the picture yet?

Please let me know when I have enough invested in Busse's to become "Established," so that I might have the "privilege" of buying a knife that I actually want from you.

Maybe I should try a different line of knifes........

Remember it is still Christmas. ;)

I don't have any idea what brought this up, but maybe it would be more appropriate if this were taken off-line.

I agree **, this place has really got something good going here, and it's because of the people here. We need everyone including both of you to be able to keep it going....

Happy Holidays guys :)

Here is his signature line.
How could this "not" be a Busse issue?

"Andre DuMouchel,
West Coast Regional Coordinator
BUSSE Combat Knife Co."

He goes by a company name, he says he had the knife in stock, but yet he won't sell it to any one that is not "Established"

When does one get "Established?"

Is this company policy?
Watch for the...."Busse Fire sale!" if this is the case, then you guys can carry on with this board uninterupted.

Woops, I really need to read the entire response of the people above me. I was in agreement that it was still Christmas :) didn't see the part about taking it off line, my bad.

Chuck,
I can understand your frustration regarding this issue. The reason I said it may be more appropriate off-line is that often disagreements on these boards are because of misunderstandings. Misunderstandings that could easily be ironed out, a phone call or a few emails back and forth will usually clarify the issue.

Maybe this has already taken place and you still don't have the answers you want, I don't know. Mainly, I thought this was an issue between you and Andre and could probably be handle between you and Andre.

I have seen these disagreements on the boards digress to the point forumites start choosing sides and then it is a free-for-all. I really don't see that as beneficial to the forum, to Busse or to your cause. Especially because we don't have the whole story. You are both respected members of this "family" and I would like it remain as such.

I'm so glad I turned down the moderator gig. Boy I'd hate to fall into 1whobuys safe. Them things is pointy and there is a whole bunch of em. I don't know what the definition of an established customer is. I consider Jerry to be a friend and would think he would put in a good word for me with any dealer. And Chuck here has bought volumes more Busse knives than me. And volume may have nothing to do with it. But the people here all good folks and an argument won't do anything but get ya upset over nothing. But I can say that Chuck takes his collection serious and that is ground ya don't wanna tread on. But let's all shake and be buddies. Cause I like ya all and don't wanna have to kill any of ya.;)

Glad to post that this has all been worked out, and all parties concerned are again at peace with eachother. Thank God! Both of these guys are LDMs (Large Dangerous Mammals) and hearing them go at it is like hangin' around the Tyrannosaurus pit at feeding time.

Black Label for everyone!. . . . Hey! Where's everybody going?

Jerry

Eric,

Just wanted to commend you on a well done post as moderator. Keepin' the peace amoungst any virtual family is never a easy job. I think your post helped to keep this thread from catching fire. To tell the truth, your message gave me pause to reflect...

Thanks,

Seth
