I didn't want to start a chat in the Sale forum, but;

"Just an FYI, but I don't recall any of the ZT series coming with sheaths, especially not factory kydex. It may have been possible to order the Cordura ones with the plastic insert sleeve like you see with so many other of the Ergo line as an extra item."

Although the other ZT's did not come with sheaths, I think that the ZT SJ's did come with Kydex sheaths. I have had a devil of a time finding a SJ for my "perfect ZT" set, because they all seem to have Kydex marks. I did finally find an almost perfect one, but it was the only one I ever saw for sale without significant marks.
 
On a related note, Were any of the old Satin Jack LE's made in 3/16"? I seem to remember one being discussed years ago. Mine, and all that I have ever seen for sale, were 1/4", but I sure would like to have a 3/16" as well. The only 3/16" I have is a CG.

My ZTNO came with a Kydex sheath. I don't remember if I ordered it extra of not, but it came from the shop with one.

I stand corrected. I had two of the ZT SJ's and neither came with them and I had not heard that. Good to know Mike. Who ever buys the ZT SJ from Uncle_Jarvis is welcome to a kydex sheath I made for mine, but for some reason did not include with it when I sold it, if I can find it that is.

The three LEs that I have owned were all 3/16ths.
 
The ZTs were advertised and sold without Sheaths.

All the ZT Satin Jacks were 1/4"

The Finish on the First half of the ZT production was pretty rough, that is one way to tell where in the production line a ZT was produced.

In the middle of production The Busse Combat Knife Company got a/some equipment/machines to faster more easily, better finish Satin Finish.

I sold plenty of Buy Brown Sheaths with the ZTs.

Remember, at the time the ZTs with the exception of the Satin Jacks were priced LOWER than the Combat Line(Black Coated)
