WOW!!!
Very slick package there.

That turned out great! Is there a way to add your website info to the last photo? I`d like to put it on my website.

Wow, Noah, that's wicked cool. You sure that's the first sheath you ever made?

And John, the MTK looks great (at least the parts I can see peeping out from behind the apocalypse ;)). Man, looks like you hit another one out of the park.

What a great collaboration!

Do you mean add the url in text form on the picture, or just hyperlink it? I can do either one :)

Holy crazy! I like it!!

This response made me laugh, haha. Thanks!

Nah, not the first sheath I ever made--just the first for one of John's knives :P

I'll try and take some pictures of just the knife for you in the morning, too

Oh, and I got artsy with one of the pictures, just for the heck of it, haha:

Whichever it is that people can just click on it to go to your website. I plan on adding a page for ordering custom leatherwork from you.

I edited the picture in my post so that it is hyperlinked to my site. Thanks John!

And now, here are some pics of the knife itself:

I just added a page to my website. I could not attach the photo, it kept giving me an error message, but I put a link to your website there. Now you better put some more sheath pics up on it! :D

great looking sheath Noah... cool pics too.. :D what do you use to finish your sheaths??

i recently got my MTK from John.. i love it.. it's a great all around size and design...

Thanks guys!

mtnfolk_mike: I use Fiebings Leather Balm w/ Atom Wax for gloss and some water resistance, and then treat it with Sno-Seal so the water just beads right off :)

I have to agree that it's a great knife!

Guys, the Michigan Trail Knife arrived today. I love my JK Kephart and EWOK, but this has to be my favorite JK knife. Handle is big and really nicely contoured. Comfortable in forward, reverse, chest-lever, and pinch grips. (Narrows toward the blade slightly, so chest-lever is very comfortable.) Blade shape is a spear-drop point hybrid, with a primary convex and secondary V grind. About 3.5" cutting edge. Very sharp.

Noah's sheath is top-of-the-line. Great leather, excellent fit, and really attractive. Immaculate stitching (recessed) with burnished edges. Belt loop is riveted to prevent the knife cutting the loop's stitching--that could be embarassing

Helluva nice package all together, going to be a great trail knife. Thanks John, thanks Noah.

(Noah, I'm going to send you another knife for some apocalyptic leather pants, kydex just doesn't cut it for me, not anymore)

WOW, the talent in this thread is amazing with the combination of Johns MTK & Noahs Custom Sheath!!! Very Nice!!!

Glad you like it Rotte, and thanks Jim!

Handling that MTK, even though I didn't get to use it (okay, I MAY have sliced a sheet of paper or two), was a real treat, so I was really hoping I would be able to live up to John's quality--and that's a tall order!
