Hey Sal

Hi A.T.. It was good to see you in Orlando.

Thanx for the post and pic. A beautiful design. But I must say that your designs usually are.

How strong is that section between the spine of the blade and the hole? Looks fairly thin, one of the reasons that the holes on a balisong get smaller as the handle tapers down, keeps strength but still has the holes to cut weight, if the holes stayed the same size as the handle tapered the handle would be too weak for regular manipulation. Thanks

At the thickest point (middle of the spine), it's approximately .080 thick. The blade is about .150. The pictures don't really show it, but I beveled the hole, that's one reason it looks a little thin. If the fellow that ordered that knife uses it as a crowbar, then we both have a problem.

Since he is a serious collector and user, I doubt if that will be the case. I do agree, I did push that a little. ;)

Stay Safe,
A.T.

Collaboration!!! PLEASE!!!

Yeah, what he said!

Spyderco needs to make another knife with jigged bone scales.
Something to go with my C27

combine that beaut with spydie quality? I dunno... my wallet's gonna hate you:p

That would be an excelent knife. looks comfortable.

Collaboration is a beautiful word. I'd buy that knife!
Oops, forgot the direct compliment. That's an awesome knife.

i usually hate knives that arent "tactical" or midevil" lookin...but this is a exception i like it.....a collabration would be nice....but i would also like the original......want to sell it?

It would be best if you contacted me directly. They don't like for us to discuss selling and buying on the forums...unless you pay for a membership.

My email is at-barr@att.net

Stay Safe,

A.T.
