This is Central Oregon, so we don't really have anything all that high here. Even Mt. Hood is only 11,161.
We do have some excellent sport climbing, but most of the peaks are really just strenuous walks.
These shots were taken from the top of South Sister. It's about an 11-mile round trip, with about 5000' of vertical gain from the car.
The view from the top is nice. As you can see, we still have quite a bit of residual smoke from wildfires and late-season field burning... so I really can't see all the way to Skunk's place.
