Hey Spark - Gift Membership Q

I purchased a surprise gold gift membership for someone a little ways back and was wondering if it might've fallen through the cracks (of course it could be that I screwed something up or they never activated it - would they have received notification)? I visited their profile and they don't have PMs enabled if that is any indication.
