Spark..
How about a name change for the Schrade Forum? It is no longer a manufacturers forum, having morphed into a Schrade collector and infor source. Questions about Schrade products from 1904 to the company's closing in 2004 are answered with respect, good humor, and solid information. Your super mods have been moving posts with Schrade questions to us, and we are eating them up, warmly welcoming new members to our site. On most days we get more traffic and posts than any other manufacturer forum here. Hell, we even issued our own Forum Knife a couple of months ago. It came with a secret decoder Schrade money clip.
On the 'Manufacturer's page, the little blurb tells of knives made in the good old USA.. and then has a link to what turns out to be Taylor Cutlery featuring made in China Schrades. The moderator is listed as Tim Faust, who left us about two years ago. We seem to do quite well without a mod, although when their is a problem, a simple message to one of your big guys gets any problems solved.
Respectfully,
Phil and the rest of 'Uncle Henry's Lost Souls'
