Hey Spark, upgraded from Basic to Gold, prorate please?

A bit over a week ago I bought a Basic membership ($10). Obviously that was a mistake. I’ve purchased a Gold membership ($30) today. Will you prorate the remainder (and most) of my Basic membership into my Gold membership’s duration?

Folks, if someone doesn't have the Staff Member & Moderator banners on their profile, they aren't staff here. No member of the staff other than myself will ever ask you to pay for a service, and if you are asked to pay it will be for a membership or name change through the site, not in a thread.
