Damn, that's tasty! The blue liners look great...never would have thought to go with blue.

Hi Guys -

Beautiful!

Now I can't wait to get my hands on my Kephard and camping kit with the same handles.......

best regards -

Haha, i know! It's beautiful. I tried to explain the best i could as to how i wanted it to look and he took my probably useless words and turned them into that! My only questions are on how to sharpen the blade (ive gotten all different answers), if i need to do anything to keep the 01 steel pristine, and if the handles will swell if wet.

Sharpen on a sharpmaker, diamond hone or ceramic crock stick, the same as any Buck or Schrade or Puma, or whatever. I actually keep a coat of auto paste wax on my knives, unless I plan on cutting food. Don`t store it in the sheath, and keep it dry. If the handles get soaked they could possibly swell. I put a hand rubbed coat of boiled linseed oil on them, it would not hurt to redo it every so often. Also, the wax will help on the wood too.

Thanks! I wanted something different and i figured blue would make the wood pop and seperate it from the metal enough to make the metal and wood stick out seperately. I'm glad everyone likes it, it's been sitting in my mind for a while but didn't get it out totally until i saw a few of johns knives and put everything down in words as to what i wanted in a knife. I took a part from a puma white hunter (the back curve on the handle) and stuff. All the credit goes to john though.

Said it before and I know I'm repeating but you are a damn artist John.
Well done.

wow.. that a beauty allright... nice work John..  love the scales on that one..

Gorgeous! I love the scales and that is a fine looking blade. That is definitely a winner!!!

Nice pics too John.
