Okay then...
Been gone a while, hope all is well here. Thanks for all the kind words regarding my new baby.
She is cute and healthy as can be. Mom as well.
I missed all the knife action.
So fill me in, what's up?

My brain is numb. You guys will need to coach me along for a little while.
You know how women go into super mom mode when they have a baby, I have gone into "THE PROTECTOR!"
Its crazy. I'm looking for ways to barricade the front door.
I am paranoid by nature. Now its on overdrive. My man-eater is just under the surface.
When I leave the house, I'm so strapped that I jingle when I walk.
Today some poor bastard came into the shop with an attitude.
He left shortly after that and the small group of witnesses were looking at me a little oddly.
I may have been rude.

Lot of stuff going on at Strider land.
Folders are being made.
New stuff will be seen soon.

I really missed you in Vegas. Next time. Hopefully I can make it out to Atlanta.

I just missed you at the shop as well. Steve said you had just left not long after I got there. The new shop is great. Almost looks like an actual business. It's amazing what you two have done in just two short years.

Well I'm sure you aren't missing a whole lot in the knife thing. There isn't anything more important than your family.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family Mr. Mick! Glad to hear that all is well. A friend of my fiancee and I just had a little girl the other day as well and she's beautiful. Unfortunately, my fiancee got to hold her and now has started giving me these truly unsettling looks.

Good to hear from you again and looking forward to seeing some new stuff!

Based on the fact that you've admitted your paranoid by nature, I guess you've heard the difference between having a son and a daughter (I have one of each)? With a son you only have to worry about one penis, with a daughter you have to worry about thousands......

My baby girl is now 17, and I hate to tell you, the paranoia only gets worse.....

Congrats on the baby girl. I'll bet she already has you wrapped around her little finger.

I know what you mean about going into "protector mode" with your daughter. Shortly after my daughter was born she developed a staff infection on her bottom and her doctor wanted to keep her at the hospital for a couple of days for observation. Not wanting to leave my new baby girl and her mother alone at the hospital I did the only thing that made sense..I stayed at the hospital the entire time and slept in a chair in the corner of her room.

Ps: if you want to hear a really messy story I'll tell you about how I got full custody of her after the marriage fizzled....
