I got my Camillus CCC4 today.
Boy is it a honker of a Big knife.
It's only a 1/4" longer than the
Buck 110, but when I hold it, it
feels a good 1 1/2" longer overall.
I quess it is the slimness of the
handle.
I don't think I'll be taking that
one to church with me!...
Beautiful knife though!

I found the pattern in an old
Remington catalog. It must be
a copy of a knife they list as
"The Hunters Favorite".

Thanks again for the E-bay tip!

You're welcome ,mate. There is something special about these
old designs the way they nestle in the hand. Yes, it is an old
Remington pattern and was a real favorite in its day. If you're not
going to "collect" it put that bad boy on the stones and re-edge it.
This is one of the best working knives Iown for cutting and such.
Yep, Camillus always did know how to make a good knife right.
Not bad fot a slip joint heh?

Enjoy, mate.
