Uncle,
The 18" Sirupati from Bura I ordered arrived yesterday and it is fantastic! I must say that Bura did a GREAT job forging and grinding the blade: even nicer than my Durba WWII. I really like the Sirupati's feel and weight distribution. It is much more agile than my WWII, if it was a snake I would say it was venomous.

I gave it to my children's sifu and it had the desired affect: ear-to-ear smile (after he told me I shouldn't have and got misty eyed). Thank you again. Now I have to buy myself one, either a Sirupati or a Cheetlangi.

Only appropriate given what the guy is doing to instil values and teaching your kids.

Never had an 18" Sirupati though. Know how quickly my Bura WW2 displaced the others as the one I reach for first though.
 
Quite a few HI khukuri end up as gifts for MA instuctors. None refused or returned as far as I know.
