... that guy that got married to someone on the forums? You know, the one we were all really nice to and gave the most awesomest wedding cake slicer ever to?
Yeah, all we asked was that he post some pix of it, and the bastid up and ditched us for a life of connubial, rather than khukurial bliss.

It all seems kinda silly now to sit down and try to explain, but here is the mercifully short version:
When Kathy and I got married I moved to WV. I had difficulty finding any employment at first, and I was painfully under-employed for about a year even after I did find work. After that, I was merely under-employed for the next year and a half. Recently, however, I have snagged one of the few brass ring jobs available in this gorgeous but economically depressed State. Now, we were never destitute by any means. Kathy makes very good money- for a teacher- but for a long while certain things were a little out of reach for us. Things like a computer or a decent camera or a BF subscription, for example.
We are doing better now, and in fact we hope to be buying a house in the next year or two.
Anyway, I've been poking around some because I really miss you guys. I wasn't going to post until I had some pix of the fabled and fabulous Knuptial Knife ready to include. Those are not ready because the knife has been in a storage environment that has not been kind to it. No damage, but it'll need some cleaning up to be as beautiful as it was when we first received it from the good folk here at HI.
The only reason I'm posting now without having pictures to share, is because Hollowdweller busted me lurking over in W&SS and called me out. 
I'm really glad he did.

) However, we do have pictures of the Knup Knife in action- I just have to find them, scan them and post them. I'll try to have them ready when I also have the Knup Knife ready for it's close-up, and I'll post them all together.
