Wow. Just got this in from the forum! I really liked the pictures, but they don't do it justice!!!!!!!!!! What a beautiful piece of INFI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm almost afraid to use it!
Just out of curiosity, would anyone know what HG55 stands for? Kinda been wondering.

The BOSS HG55 was a very popular custom model for me during the early 1980's. We took the BOSS (Busse Old School Series) HG55 pattern and gave it a modern Busse Combat treatment. The combination of INFI steel, CBT (Corrugated Bevel Technology), and machine textured handles for extra grip make the HG55 ready for anything.

HG stands for Hollow Grind. The military over run version has the tip convexed to make it stronger.

The HG55 is definitely an awesome blade. Congrats on your score

Congrats Brother, I LOVE the HG, it was my first ever Busse and I brought it from a champion HOG here on the forum whom I am now good friends with. This knife really started the whole addiction for me. I don't think I'll ever sell or swap my HG!

BTW I've always wondered what a much larger version would be like....... with say a 11 inch blade and proportionately larger handle..... Think about it........ AWESOME!

Lawrie.

For me it was a love at first sight!
Had to have one! It took me almost a year of wanting...
