The light in our backyard was favorable, so I took a few quickie snapshot of one of my HG55 Miitary Overrun knives that I received today:

:eek: I'm ordering at least 2-3 CGs after seeing this.. man that's hot!! Great pics as always.

Lunde, is there any way you could photochop that tan micarta into what black micarta would look like in that bright light???

I can change the tint, but I'm not sure how dark or light it would be in that context.

Nice photos (as usual!) and makes me glad that I jumped on one on the exchange as quick as I could. I was sorry that I missed this one.

Absence from the Busse areas is not good! ;)

I had my doubts after first seeing pics of these....but I'll tell you after holding one today for the first time, I can't believe how great they feel in hand.

Unfortunately, my Photoshop skills are not quite at that level.

BTW, these were truly quickie snapshots. I usually set up my lighting in our living room. For these photos, I took my background material to the patio in our backyard, then took the photos handheld. I think I spent less than five minutes setting up and taking the photos.

Here is a very quick attempt at making the handles look like Black Canvas Micarta:
