I was fooling around this morning with a few of my knives and noticed that there are some similarities between my HG55 and my Okuden Ammo Daddy (Bravo Pattern). They're both obvious "fighters" when you hold them in-hand. They both feel extremely secure in the hand with front guards that'll keep the index finger safe. They share similarly machined indentations on the thumb ramps. Okuden's Ammo Daddy also has them up further on the blade. I've never used those though. The indentations appear to have been done with a ball end mill on both knives.
Some differences are that the HG55 is appreciably thicker--just over 1/4" with the Ammo Daddy being just under 3/16" and slightly lighter in weight. I'd have to say the Busse is the more refined knife in design and has INFI!! (sorry Brian
) but the Okuden with its Paul Boss heat treated A2 is no slacker. All in all they're both great knives!
