Yesterday I recieved my Ganzaa HG55. First thoughts were wow, thats a heavy knife for such a thin knife. Second thoughts were, wow this feels really good in my hand. I compared it to my ASH-LE and the HG55 felt heavier in my hand than the ASH did, I didnt break out the scale but I need to because everyone who held the two agreed with me.
I really like the thumb grooves on this knife, they look cool and they feel good to me. Not overly agressive at all but still enough grip for my tastes.
The knife for its weight feels livley in my hands and fairly well balanced as well. I really like the desert camo pattern, at first I didnt...then I really liked it as I played with it.
Mine came shaving sharp along with the Swine Shaving Sheet. I havent been able to go out and do any cutting with it yet but it will be interesting to see how it penetrates a phonebook.
