hg55 sheath recommendations

Hi,

My wife has just received my busse hg55 (I'm presently deployed) and I'm looking for sheath options before she sends it to me.

I have a satin jack with teflon coating and the original busse sheath. I'm not sure if the knife will fit it...I'd rather purchase another sheath anyways - you know, knife stimulus and everthing.

So what sheath do you hogs recommend?

I'd like it to bea able to fit on flak/kevlar if needed.

Hang from a warbelt if needed, and/or shoulder holster.

Also, I'd really not have to worry about my wife sending the knife away for fitting - just have her pruchase one that fits and send it too me as a complete package.

I sincerely appreciate your offer to pay for my sheath - it really makes my day. But, I'm an officer and feel that I should leave these opportunities to those who make a little less than me.

So I'll pay for it - no hard feelings.

On a similar note, a very dependable corpsman was deployed with me during my first Iraq tour. He wanted a big knife and was looking at kurkri's (sp?). I told him not to worry about it and in the next week or two my wife sent him two cold steel ones - that's the kind he was eyeing. (Just in case he wanted to hook his battle buddy up too). He was estatic. Well, prior to this deployment, I called him and he is deploying again - possibly to the same place that I'm going...it's like karma.

Anyways, thanks alot for the feedback. I've been a 'member' here for a long time, I don't post often but lurk alot.

Nice to hear from you Leaky stay safe over-there.

I'll be deployed in Afganistan soon & i'd choose the HG-55 to carry with me too.
