Hg55 thoughts!

I really like this design and was wondering what you hogs thought! I thinki like it more than the SJTAC but will have to see!
 
Have no thoughts on it yet,,,,,, scored a mil overrun in the Ganza,,,,, and ordered a Combat Grade and an LE ,,,,,,, still waiting on the mail . Hopefully I'll be able to answer this,,,,,soon :D


Definetely like the HG-55 style blade more than the SJTAC,,,,,, but not as much as the old school SJ. Just scored one on the exchange,,,,hopefully it will arrive by Saturday ......
 
I like the design, but I'm holding out for a SKINNY! I had a BATACLE that was about the same dimensions as the HG55 (1/4" INFI @ 5.5" blade).

For me, it is just too thick for the blade length. I'd be all over one at around .20.
 
I like the looks and think it would be great but I am still waiting for one to arrive.

At first I liked the design, but the more I looked at it the less I liked it. It just doesn't look like a BUSSE to me. I think I will pass on this one.
 
I think the HG55 LE is one of the prettiest Busses made. I like the way the point is directly in line with the center of the down canted handle. I like the jimping on the spine for the saber grip. I like the size of the knife. I like the convex edge. I like the long swedge. This knife is a fighter.

Only Jerry knows the answer to that.
It's never a definite thing... and a risk if you wait.
But you came always try and score one on the exchange later.

I'd love to see one in .187" or .220 as well.
.250"+ will be a brute for sure... but I ordered an LE or two anyway. ;)

I think the blade shape is GREAT on these... and I think they will give the original SJs a run for their money. :thumbup:

Been debating the CG... might just get one to have thinned down later.

I'm waiting to get my ganzaa one before placing an order. Which is silly because I know I'm going to order a CG and LE model anyway. :D

It's one of my fav designs ever ... definitely ordering a few !

Im looking forward to getting it...no secret I like thicker blades and the blade shape itself looks like a winner. Only ordered an LE but I've been fighting the urge every week to place an order for a CG too for fun stuff.
 
Oh man, all this anticipation to get it. I can not stand any longer, need to drink more Whiskey. :D

I hope they will start shipping it this week. :thumbup:
