HG55 - Thoughts

Thinking about my next INFI procurement and I've been quite keen on the HG55 for a while now. What do you guys think of it, what's it like to use?

I'm not a huge fan of thick infi and my most used Busse-kin are a BAD, Sar3 and Street Scrapper 4. Don't know if I'm better off with a Boss Jack next or the HG55. What else can you recommend ?
 
An HG55 is like an ever-so-slightly scaled down and stabby-er BOSS Jack. I think a BOSS Jack is a better all-arounder, though maybe not as cool looking or "fighter-ish" as the HG55 if that matters to you.
 
I had a mil overrun HG55 and initially loved it, but wound up selling it because I never used it... I always found it too thick for what it was and I couldnt find a niche for it - I'd always grab something else - maybe because it is a fighting knife more geared towards self defense?

I think itd be a great hunting knife if you could thin it out a good amount and convex it - or go for the LE - the grind on the CG was just too thick a V.

With that said, the handle is one of the most comfy and I think its one of the most unique bad-assed looking blades...
 
Ive got an LE version of it it, is the Cats Ass.
Good weight to it. Works well in the kitchen
and the field. A up swept skinner on steroids.!!!
Can whittle or baton with it..!! Very cool knife!!
 
Go for it. Play with it for while. If you do not like, you can alway sell it.
