Hi, I recently bought a Hg55 and love it. I can't do pictures sorry, but I guess it is a small bowie. I have a question - sorry if this has been asked before, but what does HG stand for?

Cool! Thanks Pokey! I'm curious what the 55 stands for? I sure love my HOG GRADE 55!

Thank you Pokey. I'm thrilled with it. I knew it couldn't be hollow grind because mine is flat ground without the ridges. I knew 55 referred to the blade length.
This is an addictive and expensive pastime. So far I have a BWM, a Boss Jack, Boss Street, Cultellus and now the HG55. All are users, and I love them all.

That is an awesome collection you have started! If you get a chance to snap any pics while you are putting your blades to good use, make sure you post them! We love to see user pics

It sounds like the HG55 was a lot of people's "First's". Great blade to break you in!

HG55 is a sweet one. This is an old pic before I stripped mine. Man that was the toughest one to strip yet with two layers of coating on it. It's on my leg holster setup now.

I have a HG55 MO. It's one of my favorites.

Theses don't get much play on the forums.

Too focused as a fighter?

Maybe, but I think it is practical enough to have various uses. I certainly aren't a knife fighter and dont want a purely fighting knife. The HG55 has utilitarian purposes too.

Respect Tim,

That collection just keeps going and going. Spectacular.
