HHFSH Question

Hmm, interesting question. Can't rule it out, the crew would show up at shows with all kinds of oddball variants.

Like resinguy said, variants are hard to rule out. Then there’s the HOGFSH, which was ffg.

But the HOGFSH was much older than 2014. Unless Busse pulled an old warranty blank out of storage and dressed it up for a show?

Thanks, it has the old logo with the dog tag. Description says fat heavy heart fusion steel heart flat ground 2014

Also says magnum black g10

Thanks for the help guys, first time I ever tried to put a picture on BF and I guess it worked OK.

Yeah, only mentioned in case it was mislabeled and the year was just a guess or something. Looks like the knife is actually flat saber anyway.

I think your right and it was mislabeled, I’m guessing maybe the year was wrong also. Thanks again. The info had me confused. I’m guessing just a regular Hhfsh if it’s thick enough

Good question I know the original Heavy Hearts were black coating saber grind with black canvas micarta and believe 0.27” thick

I have one of the original HHFSHs. I was lucky to score one from the exchange awhile back. I just pulled it out to play with. The magnum handles feel good. The only imperfection I can see on mine is that it looks like someone attempted to attack it with a fork or butter knife as there is a slight scratch by the logo lol.

I could see this being from 2014. The logo is higher on the blade than the originals and the scale profile is similar if not the same as the NMFSH. The original HHFSH magnum scales are not as contoured.

Sweet knife!

Looks like red/black g10. Blade looks Sage coated. How thick is it? 🙂
Other than straight from Busse, it would be hard to determine exact year, as it most likely came from a show, but there are just so many different variants, limited runs, & one-offs of the FSH/HHFSH/HOFSH models (see pic for a very small collection of variations bought over a decade's time, with an original FSH on the left side vvv...

That looks to be an original HH FSH, by the looks of the grind (saber) and handle texturing (part near the choil has sharp peaks, later Fusion handles have that part flattened for comfort).

I have an original HHFSH, no magnums tho. I’ll try and remember to grab a pic. I bought it on the exchange around 2005ish

Looks like the exact sheath I have. From Dwayne Puckett at Armoralleather. I actually tried reaching out to him a few times over the years with no luck.
