HHFSH--underestimated or one of the best of all time??

Yes! Probably the best balance between a chopper and utility cutter in my estimation.
 
So what if you had a small and medium knife, and wanted something bigger to chop with, but wouldn't really need to do much more with? FBMLE or HHFSH?
 
I agree....very close to being perfect. Just a little on the small side for me.

The FBMLE on the other hand...now that is a knife....:D
 
I prefer the HH because it has enough forward weight for chopping, and has less mass towards the tip that I feel hinders utilitarian use of the forward edge.

Same here, I also sold two HH's but after a while I realised I needed another one...(will not use the NO REGRETS:D:D)
This one will stay with me a lot longer....
 
Okay...see T, you're messin' with my head here. I just did the "I'll Take it" dance on an FBMLE. I guess the way I see it, can't be a Hog without at least 1 mistress. Later on down the line maybe I'll pick up a custom FSH, or order one to my specs. Maybe a HogFSH with snake or tiger slabs...

I'm just not a big fan of black/black with standard slabs, otherwise I would have picked up "the one".

And if I don't like the LE, I can just trade her for an HH or HOGFSH later, right? :D:D:D
 
HOGFSH is where its at...keep those skinny HHs to yourselves!.....actaully I have never owned one....never even got to handle one, sure I have had a few FSHs, and at least 8 HOGFSHs, 2 MOASHs and ZERO HHs.
 
The HHFSH is without a doubt my favorite of the FSH lineup. Ideal heft, great edge geometry, and the most forward balance of all the FSH. It is one of the few that are perfect just as they are. Whats not to like :D

Now if only they were satined with a zero convexed edge......but that is another story ;)
