HI 12'' Ang Khola test is up

Just started watching it, but found the comments during the apple test to be hilarious.

A little surprised the kukri bent that easily, though. It's enormously thick, and if properly heat treated, I don't think it should take a set that easily...
 
Not surprising, the knife is differentially treated, only the edge is hard. It broke right where everyone on the Khuk forums said it would.

Yeah the bend near the tip isn't in a hardened area either. No surprise the tang snapped where it did.
 
That was pretty cool. AKs are just tanks. Thanks for the destruction test, Noss.
 
Yeah, it was really cool to see it do so well. Scientificness aside, they seem like tough knives.
