Hello everyone,
I have owned many knives from Schrade to Gerber to Cold Steel and after this week, none fill my needs like the Buck. Buck 110 folder that is.
I grew up getting my first knives from Schrade (Bear Paw and The early non stainless Golden Spike). Great knives, god rest their soul
P.S.-I still covet my Schrades!
I have owned a Buck 119 while in the Army, but the shiny hilt and pommel made it a No-Go for field ops. Buck would reap a bundle making a blackened 119 for the military!
After carrying my Gerber LST Magnum for over 6 years, I decided to get back to the roots and after watching a History Channel show "Hands on history" on Buck knives, I decided to buy the original Buck 110 and a 119. WOW, these knives are of a quality I have not seen in a while. The 110 is, of what seems, a swiss watch level of a folder and the 119 Special is the sharpest bowie type knife I own now.
I do have a following for Gerbers, but my Buck 110 and 119 are now my NO. 1 knives for hunting and carry.
