1st post in this forum and just saying "Hi". I usually frequent the gun forums but being a Buck Knives fan I thought I would see what was out there for them and came across this forum. Lots of catching up to do now that I'm here!

What Buck's do you have?
Currently I’ve got a the Vantage Pro both large and small, the Bantam 284 and a Spitfire Custom I just ordered this morning. My small Vantage Pro is the one I usually keep on me but is being sharpened by Buck as we speak so the 284 has been in my pocket for a few weeks. For such a value knive I sure do like the little 284! But really looking forward to the Spitfire Custom.

Welcome to the forums. Glad you made it over here. If you stay a while, you’re sure to meet some great people and pick up an encyclopedia of knowledge (and maybe even a few new knives along the way). 
Also, if you ever have any interest in sharpening instead of waiting on Buck’s turnaround time, there are gentlemen around the forums that I’m sure would be more than happy to help you get started by pointing you in the right direction.

Thanks BP. Eventually I would love to sharpen my own knives. I'm too worried about damaging them. Especially those harder steel's like the S30V that are on my Vantage Pro or my Spitfire being built. I don't want to touch those with anything since I don't know what I'm doing. Now my little Bantam 284 I can practice on! I wouldn't feel AS bad if I ruined that blade even though I've grown quite attached to it since I picked it up a few weeks ago. Awesome little knife for under $20! Love the blade shape!
