Hi everyone. I am not exactly new to Bladeforums, but the Fletcher knives subforum has been getting looked at mighty hard today.

I had a question and was hoping to maybe find that answer here. Over on the Becker forum (where I usually roam) we were kicking back and forth some knife ideas, and I came up with one that for some reason or another has really, really gotten me interested in the idea of getting it made. Does Fletcher Knives do custom orders for custom knives?

Thanks for any info, and I really like the looks of the knives I have seen here.

I know he has before, and if he does for you it'll be amazing... but I'll have to let Dylan confirm that, of course.

I can't say whether Dylan will take your project, but I will say that as a knifemaker it would do you better to present the design, and see if it turns him on. He may like the knife. That happens to us makers. The question by itself is one a maker like Dylan and I are likely to shy away from. The picture appeals to us on a different level.

Hi Derek. Thanks for checking out the forum. Every once in a while I do custom pieces for people. It really depends on whether or not the design speaks to me. Go ahead and email me the design idea and any drawings of it you might have and I'll check it out. Be sure to say in the subject of the email your Bladeforums name. Here is a general idea of what it will look like. I am refining the 3D model to a little closer to what I am after.

I appreciate you looking at it. I do have a fellow Beckerhead that is interested and will most likely be the one that ends up making it. After looking around here though, I might have to get me some Fletcher knives to go with my Beckers though.

I don't think that one would be the job for me, but I do appreciate you showing it to me. I would suggest getting on me email list if you aren't already. People on the email list find out about batches, special knives, and other stuff before any of the forums. To get on the list, just shoot me an email and say PUT ME ON THE LIST!
