HI and asking for help

Hi and welcome. Is it a metal box-top as well? I think it's one that was often used for extra fancy Special Factory Order editions of the LB7 5" lockback. There should be a fuzzy (flocked) plastic tray in there but they are the first thing to go. A LB7 weighs a full half a pound and if the box gets banged around the trays crack often enough. Tray was probably discarded somewhere down the line.

Ducks Unlimited used them a lot, others could have them too. I have one with a burgundy tray: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/653777-Rarest-Schrade-Nope-One-of-the-Nicest-I-think-so!?highlight=rarest+nicest

Larry303 has an awesome collection posted here: http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/corners/LarryH/index.htm

He's the "Bling King" and has lots of super-correct packaging/papwerwork etc. Here's a bunch more on display: http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/corners/LarryH/pages/More-Schrades.htm

Sorry I missed the bulls-eye. I thought I recognized it and didn't pay close enough attention. You're right. 14" is too big. The display boxes I was referring to are only around 10" wide. Mine's in safe-deposit so I can't measure it precisely.
