Those are the deals for the day! Both made by Tirtha too!

Done deal on Chainpuri.

So Chainpur is the kami?
I believe Chainpure is the district or market area they come from. The Kami is probably unknown unless Aunti or Pala just happens to know them. Chainpuri is the style of knife typical of the area of Chainpure. HI sources these blades and they get screened by HI and meet the same quality standards as HI Kami blades. They usually dont have the Kami marks because that is an added feature exclusive to HI (as far as I know) initiated by Uncle Bill through the years. I think that started that in '05 after his passing.

Good schnag Schnelly! Welcome to the forum. You got a fabulous deal and that Rhodo handle is gorgeous!

Send an email to auntie at himimp@aol.com, she will respond to let you know whether you got it or not, and the shipping cost, you may then remit payment via Paypal.

Field sharp = sharp enough to chop in the field, not arm hair removing sharp.

You will need to use a mousepad technique to sharpen the blade further if you would like. Just takes a few minutes of your time.

Got the done deal on the WWII. I'm excited to see how the wood looks up close.

WOW that is a light KLVUK! Nice snag Steve.

Thanks ndoghouse. Longtime lurker, first time buyer. I seem to always miss out on the deals. For what it's worth, I sent an email requesting it at 9:59 so I should have dibs.
