Heya. I have a HI Bolo that I got last year. I'm going to sell it, but I have no idea how much it is worth (I forgot what I paid for it, so many knives during that period....)

Anyways, can anyone give me some estimates / guesses / lies as to how much it's worth? It's brand new, never used in any way, a beast of a knife, and kept oiled, complete with original black sheath (the clasp on the sheath says 'The Great Seal of Oklahoma' around the seal, lol. Wierd.)

Anyways...

I bought one for $50 not long ago... I'd buy yours for that too... I can be emailed thru the forum

This thread could be perceived as a veiled sales attempt by a non-paying member... just saying. $50.- sounds reasonable...

You can use the search function to find all the prices you need from old DOTD's, maybe even find the DOTD where you bought it.

We should not be talking about sales in this thread, please do not make me shut this down.

The BobWhite Bolo was designed by Forum member BobWhite. A Search in the Archives will pull up information on this model.

Karda is right about searching, finding prices and not being the place for bidding. The correct place to sell this is in the Exchange section of the Forum under "For Sale: Production Knives(Individual). You'll need a minimum Gold membership to post it there. (Sorry Karda, I couldn't help myself. As I was typing it I knew it was going to bring you out.)

there is no difference between a Bolo and a Bob White Bolo when HI is concerned.

Haven't really paid attention to any other Bolo by HI. Does an HI Bolo have the same handle as the BobWhite?

wow. I didn't know the search feature worked, I thought it didn't work.

Doh.

Ahhhh, found the post I got it in. Forgot I got it the same time I got that bowie....the bowie is like my favorite knife.

it is if you can get it. Since I have one for less, I will leave it to you all. :)
