Just got my Agni Jowla sword in yesterday, and man, it's the bees knees. Will post good pics of it in this thread later today. On both sides of the blade, there's a carved cobra spitting gold fire- oh man, it's through the roof:) This got me thinking about other carved HI blades I've seen and was hoping to see folks here post some pics of theirs. If you have some, post em!

Uncle Bill Especial 18" by Tirtha, Nepali symbols on blade, Nepal flag on scabbard, made for the past President of the Northern California Nepalese Association.

Silver Mounted Ang Khola 15" by Rajkumar, carved handle, single dragon on both sides of blade.

Sorry for the fuzzy pics, my hands are not as steady as they once were.

Just one word-amazing!

I didn't know you were such an important person, Cul! Honored!

I'm not important, just lucky to have such pieces.

The dragon one is mine. My wife ordered it from auntie for my bday.

The UBE is for a friend of mine, and he has asked me to keep it safe for him.

Really nice blades Cul. I love that carved handled Rajkumar piece. Let me know if you ever what to separate from it.

Sorry GB, that'll never happen. It was my very first HI blade, wife ordered it from auntie, and surprised me with it on my bday about 3 years ago. It's going to be a family heirloom.

I thought you were secretly the President mentioned. :D Well, celebrity or not we still like you :).

I can tell this is going to be a great thread for when my hands start shaking and the withdrawals are getting bad.

Cul- phenomenal! That's what I'm talking about:)

Here's some pix of the Agni Jowla

Both sides feature a flame spitting cobra- that's twice the firepower. Not easy to see with my poor pic taking skills, but the fire is gold inlayed.

The handle is beefy, fits well in my banana hands. When my body is in the ground and my spirit is soaring, my kids are going to get this.

Awesome blade! Very beautiful heirloom indeed.

I believe the "fire" is a brass inlay, not gold. Looks really cool regardless though.
