On December 15, 2008, HIMALAYAN IMPORTS sold a HI CHRISTMAS TIBETAN KATANA
(Sword) to: person from Florida
Some days later we were contacted by BANK and informed that the VISA credit card number that he gave for the purchase of this item was "STOLEN", and the money would have to be returned back to VISA CARD.
We have "proof" that the Package was received at the BRADENTON,Florida address(confirmation from USPS).We have tried to contact the persn via the phone number and email address with NO LUCK at ALL!
Cheif, can you please make an suggestion on what to do! I do not expect the Custom made HI CHRISTMAS TIBETAN KATANA returned to HI (that would be fantastic), but is it possible for person to be prosecuted for "THEFT"!

A sword fit for the king of kings.......
that is the most beautiful katana i've seen so far.
I do think the "old man" has outdone himself....give him my utmost praise!

I have never seen something so elaborate or gorgeous come from the kamis. An heirloom to be sure.

Museum display material for sure. I even checked my checkbook. Discretion is the better part of valor.

Yangdu, you must have really lit up the kami creative juices on your last visit.

Not quite sure what to say...
All of the above and Then some!!
Wow.... Very tempting if I coud find a home for my Kimber 6.5x55mm...
I think it would be worth the sale to add this blade to the heirloom collection.

Simply a Gorgeous piece Yangdu!

Four guys are Tibetan people from Tibet.

I've seen stuff offered here that made me consider selling a gun or two, but this thing has me wondering how much cash I could get for my dad. Any takers? He's 72, mean as a rattlesnake, has a heart condition, fries a fine catfish, and cooks the best chili in the whole history of the human race.

I'll take the old man. I haven't had good chili or decently cooked catfish in over 15 years :p But seriously that is an awesome piece. Someone will be very lucky.

Awesome! IIRC a standard kothimoda katana was well like $495, so this is very reasonable, considering the work on those was just in the scabbard and not also the guard and bolster. I love the handle on this as well. This would make a real user or a wonderful trophy for your wall.

I wonder: can I use kukris to pay for it? :p;):) I have plenty of those, but no $.

Whoever gets it had better post pics...
