Hi everyone. I own a SOG Vision Titanium and LOVE it. I was currently making an extensive search for a small folder. I wanted something on the lines of my A.G. Russell Featherlite, without the plastic handle. I was curious of everyone's opinions on the knife. How thin is it? Any problem? Regrets? Thanks!

He means the new one, Robbie--that looks like a Sidewinder with solid steel handle.

If you like the A.G. Russell Featherlight and want something like it in stainless, you're going to love the smaller version of his One Hand Knife.

On the flip side, the SOG Gentleman costs half as much. It's a solid knife with a traditional lockback and a nice semi-mirror finish.

Oh, sorry. Didn't know there was more than one. All I know is I see it available on many sites... its the only one like that I have seen.

Hi. Thanks for the link. I really like that Russell, but am not sure about how it locks up or how the closing works. Thats why I kind of didn't pursue it. You think its a better buy than the SOG?

It's a lockback and works just like your AG Featherlight, except in this case the locking spring is part of the handle. The thumbstud on the blade works just like every other thumbstud does. To unlock, you push up on that little thumbstud on the locking latch!

Is it a better buy? It's more expensive than the SOG Gentleman because they're very finely finished and every one is hand fitted/tuned here in the US at A.G. Russell. The SOG Gentleman has a more comfortable handle, though.

Thanks for the great info. I see that the Russell is super thin, is the SOG similar in thickness?
