Wow, absolutely stunning. I had intended to get a regular AK or possibly Sirupati as my first true Kukri (I have always been attracted to the forward curve of the blade but as of now my only blade of that shape is a cheap machete) but I am going to take the plunge on this one.

Thank you, I was finally at the right place at the right time (oooh, those deals I showed up too late for!).

I have always been more of a "knives are for using" kinda guy but this one looks so beautiful I don't know if I can bear the thought of chopping wood or whatever with it.

On top of that, while I'm not a small guy I am preparing myself for what "Uncle Bill" wrote about the regular 20" AK--"unless you are fit and have a lot of chopping to do, opt for something smaller", this is probably gonna be a much more substantial piece of steel than I reckoned. I'm pretty excited. I will post a review (and pics if I can) when I get it.

I've seen lots of engraving, but have to say that is a cut above. Really equisite detail on that dragon.

Congrats to the lucky buyer.

Hi Matt,

Congradulation! You've got a great one.

I was debating. It's now gone. What a relief!

Best Regards,
Ted
