HHHeeeeellllllooooo ERIC, Hello everyone!!!

I told you I would make it here soon. Won't be here long tonight but will be checking in over the weekend.

To those whose aren't familiar, I was in a delima as to what to get, a CRK one piece or a Busse. I posted on the general forum and had very good response. I found a great deal on a CRK Shadow IV, older model with a pancake sheath. It should be coming sometime next week. I will then DEFENITELY get a Busse as the "workhorse". I am waiting to see what they are coming out with next. If they don't come out with a new model soon I may get the BM-E for some "heavy-duty" work.:) But then again I REALLY like the NO. Of course the SH_E would be a nice in-between choice. Decisions, decisions.:) Whats a KNUT to do.:)

Anyway, a big hello to everyone here. Eric promised I would be able to make an appearance and leave but I'm kinda doubting it.:D

Glad you made it to the Busse Forum, welcome aboard

Did I say that? I don't recall saying something like that....I stopped in here several years ago and they haven't let me leave yet ;):D:D


Once again welcome, let us know what you are intending to use the Busse for and I'm sure we can give you some recommendations
 
Yeah Eric, I'm thinking that was you that said that. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was.:) I gotta feeling I'll be here for awhile too even though you promised.;)

Well, I'm needing a knife to chop up an old tractor I've got sitting in the field behind the barn. I don't want to go overboard with something like the BM so I was thinking along the lines of an NO or a SH. What do ya think?:D

Good to have another knut aboard. My recommendation is the NO, but then agasin that is my favorite knife for all aroung destruction.

A tractor you say? The Assault Shaker should be sufficient :D

Seriously though, I would suggest a SJLE for an all-round utility knife and a BM for a chopper.

Oh, the NO should be able to handle that no problem ;):D:D


It really depends on what you are looking to use it for however, as Andrew said the SJ is an awesome utility knife. LE or CG

If you want something that you can do a little chopping with then the NO or SH-e would probably fit the bill.

If you want it for an EDC maybe stick to the SJ or the Killer B(KB)

Busse makes a knife for everyone, but if you don't see something that you think will fit your needs there is always the custom or variant route. If this is the case drop marc an email at marc@bussecombat.com and he can set you up.

Welcome to the most addictive place on earth. The BM-E is my suggestion to you. Why? Well I'm always a sucker for the Mistress line, and because she can handle little chores just as well as huge chopping chores espeically if you get a sharpened upper edge like the one 2thehilt has pictures on the sale boards :D

Someday soon I'll have one of these. Can't wait to see what will come out next. I may either get ahold of thatmguy or just make a drive to the main office and see them all in person. I must leave all credit cards at home though.:D
 
Leave the cc's home? What the heck is the point? :) That's like going to the al-key-hal mart without a photo id :D
