Seeing no one jump on this is bugging me. I might have to do it myself. But i already got one, soooo tempting, gotta think about it.

That's exactly how I ended up with two. It takes a lot of work to make a blade like that & I just couldn't resist stealing it. I heard that you can polish them to bring the hamon to visibility, but haven't done that yet. These thing are real swords with hardened edge (not wall decorations). I learned the hard way how sharp they are.

Yeah, but this is a wall hanger that could actually be used to fight off the ninjas that might attack;):thumbup: While not a wood chopper, the Everest Kat IS a functional head lopper:D

Thank you for buying this before my resolve gave out! Turns out thus is one made by Sher and Bura together.
 
That's a handsome Everest Katana. While I still lament that Bura is no longer producing blades, this gives me hope for the younger kamis. Congrats!
