Hi!

Wandered my way in while wasting time surfing the 'net, and just had to sign up. Now my time wasting can have a productive direction!

Proud to join the crusade to bring curvy knives to the desert southwest....
 
Always to hear from a new guy. I suggest reading the thread 'Rusty' started entitled "Thread for Newbys"...it explains alot of our Lingo in the cantina.

And while you stay dont be afraid to ask what something means. It will make your life alot easier!:D

Welcome, To. NM? What part? I lived in Taos for awhile & also up in the Sangre de Cristos near a little place called Gualalupita.
 
Welcome Tohatchi: Don't let us scare you off. It's like the bar scene in Star Wars. We may look and act a mite peculiar, but stick around and some of it will start to make sense. If it gets too far out of hand I can always have my wife step in and straighten this place out. She's a retired 2nd grade teacher. She'll have everyone in their seats with their heads down right now.
 
Looked the place up on the map. Drove thru but don't remember it. Perhaps this is the reason. To, explained: "There are two gas pumps and the high school that looks like a prison."

I was up in your neck of the woods a couple of summers ago. I went up to visit a friend of mine from Vietnam days. He lives in Bloomfield.

Howdy Tbarahon, you're right about the cantina. There seems to be a bunch of mighty decent flks on the forum. I'm sure glad that I found it too.
 
Just a bunch of crazies who understand one another. We drove our resident shrink away -- couldn't handle it.
